The coronavirus pandemic is a serious threat to public health. In order to save lives, it was necessary to stop certain activities and take coordinated restrictive actions. However, these measures have led to a severe slowdown in countries' economies.
The scientific studies proving the effects of ozone on Coronavirus viruses
In order not to deepen the crisis on many economic branches, gradually, several activities were resumed under certain conditions. The gyms, museums, malls and even after schools have been reopened.
But, as expected, new coronavirus cases have included Romania among the countries with a worrying percentage per million populations, in addition to certain outbreaks and increasing community cases.
This is why the COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic is not yet a past topic. If in particular, each of us must not forget the necessary preventive measures for both us and those close to us (avoid crowded places, wear a mask indoors and wash our hands often), regarding the companies or institutions, the responsible persons must respect more stringent sanitation and disinfection measures.
Ozonation disinfection is not only an affordable service but also very efficient
In an article published on the website of the Romanian Scientific Society of Oxygen - Ozone - Therapy (SSROOT), Gabriel Mogoș, Ph.D., presents us the importance of ozone in the prevention and treatment of COVID-19 infection: “The antipathogenic effects of ozone have been proven for several decades. Its deadly action on bacteria, viruses, fungi and in many species of protozoa, serves as a basis for its increasing use ... Ozone destroys viruses by spreading through the protein layer in the nucleic acid core, which leads to RNA damage viral. At higher concentrations, ozone oxidizes the capsid or outer protein coat by oxidation… Oxygen-ozone has been shown to kill the SARS coronavirus and since the structure of the new COVID 2019 coronavirus is almost identical to that of the SARS coronavirus, the new coronavirus. ”
For decades, several professors have highlighted the importance of ozone in neutralizing viruses and microbes, but especially since the previous SARS-CoV in 2002-2003.
John Oxford, Professor Emeritus of Virology at Queen Mary University in London and one of the world's leading experts on infectious diseases, compared the two viruses: "We were very lucky with SARS in 2003. It did not spread as fast as the coronavirus that caused COVID-19." Patients with SARS have been contagious with the full manifestation of the disease; doctors need enough time to isolate the infected patient. In contrast, the terrible success of the new virus is determined by its ability to pass from one person to another before the onset of symptoms or, as Professor Oxford highlights, from infected people who never have an onset of symptoms.
About the contribution of ozone as a solution in the fight against COVID-19 supported by Zhou Muzhi, professor at Tokyo Keizai University in Japan and president of the Cloud River Urban Research Institute, I also mentioned in a previous article, Ozone, the suitable weapon against COVID-19.
In an article dated May 2013 and updated in 2014, Gérard V. Sunnen, Ph.D., talks about the effects of ozone on MERS (Middle East Respiratory Syndrome) and SARS (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome): “Due to the excess energy in the ozone molecule, it is theoretically plausible that ozone, unlike other microbial control options, looks effective across the Coronavirus spectrum… Ozone has unique disinfectant properties. As a gas, it has a penetration capacity that liquids do not have. Taking into account that MERS and SARS persist on surfaces for up to a few days, it is suggested that ozonation technology be applied to the decontamination of medical area.”
Therefore, at national level, the Monza Hospital from Bucharest informs their site visitors that “for an efficient sanitation, the Monza Group offers both people and employees a safe environment, with low risk of contamination, with the help of OZONE STERILIZATION EQUIPMENT...
17 recognized studies underline that ozone destroys SARS CORONAVIRUS FROM AIR AND ON SURFACES.
The Monza Group is constantly investing in all means of protection and related technologies in order to provide an epidemiologically safe environment. ”
